Wedded Bliss

Mixing and matching complementary linens is a great way to turn tables into works of art. Recently, LINENS á la CARTE exhibited its "masterpieces" at the West Point Club's Bride's Brunch, presenting 23 different table-settings to prospective brides. Offering both romance and sophistication, this fusion is ideal for today's weddings.

Cupid's Arrow
A red iridescent crush tablecloth is draped over white celebrity stripe with matching napkins and chair covers. The chairs are dressed in white covers with bright red chair sashes.

Cloud Nine
Charm your guests with a table set with a square periwinkle organza tablecloth over a floor-length champagne tablecloth. The napkins and chair covers are also champagne, and the chair sash is periwinkle organza.

Glittering Gold
Make a grand statement with a glittering gold table, using two different popular gold fabrics. A gold scroll damask tablecloth sits atop a solid champagne underlay and is set with champagne napkins to pick up the color of the scrolls. The gold and champagne theme is repeated with chair sashes in gold organza over solid champagne chair covers.

Black and White and Beautiful All Over
Like white? Kick it up a notch with a white-on-white celebrity stripe tablecloth, white stripe chair covers, and black sashes. Then use black celebrity stripe napkins to contrast with all that white. By adding a brightly colored floral centerpiece, the black-and-white neutral background is enhanced.

Dots of Iris
For brides on a budget, use color to add pizzazz to a basic tablecloth-and-napkin set up, as with this table set with periwinkle napkins and a champagne tablecloth. The Lady Windmere napkin fold adds interest. The floral centerpiece, dotted with iris, pulls everything together.
